Yesterday about 3000 reds and I spent the day down at Anfield posting eviction notices after the first set of accounts released since the takeover showed we had in fact been taken over by paupers who have no intention of doing anything with LFC except to run us into the ground.
eighteenfive believes there's strong evidence to suggest the Ferguson mafia was behind the Hicks and Gillette takeover, which at all stages was not wanted by any fans who would have preferred the club to stay under it's previous ownership than to be sold at all.
This is in stark contrast to Manchester United who welcomed their yanks with open arms and even rolled out the red carpet for them. They certainly didn't all get together and pledge £5000 like we did as soon as the takeover was complete.
Anyway, with the club £350 million in debt the only answer for us now is Dubai Investment Corp. They make the Ambrovich family look like beggars and will definitely, without leveraging any debt on the club, sign a some world class players and build a 80000 seater stadium that will make Old Toilet look like an ever Older Toilet than what it is now.
The only problem is getting Glazer's best mate Hicks to sell his shares, which seems nigh on impossible as he appears to be in their pocket and a cunt of the highest order.

I agree with you that Ferguson had something to do with the takeover. Glazer probably knows H&G and told them to buy LFC knowing they would screw everything up.
We all knew this would happen which is why the fans tried to buy the club out themselves unlike the mancs.
We really do need some DIC who will turn us into the most powerful club in the world. Add the money to our 18-5 record and we will back on our perch.

Dubai International Capital is an investment company. Their intentions were to build your new stadium, not invest in the team, then sell the club on, with a target profit of 19-25% of investment per annum. They have no interest in buying you scousers Kaka etc.... they plan to fix you up and sell you on....

Agreed with the two posts about. DIC would be extremely beneficial to the club and would there for put uson an even keel with United and Chelsea.
