Well Rafa is saying he's committed for the long haul and despite having nothing to spend like previous years he's confident we will be successful.
Oooh, and looks as though we might sign Gaz Baz this week for £14 million + Steve Finnan.
But besides that not much news leaving us to speculate what is going on in Rafa's head.
I truly believe after last night he'll pull out all stops to get David Villa. With him we'd dominate England and Europe for the foreseeable future. He and Super Scouseglatico Fernando Torres have a telepathic relationship reminiscent of Puskas and Di Stefano or Garrincha and Pele.

Well the obvious striker Liverpool should buy is Villa. Him and Torres would be devastating up front together.

I cant believe Degen didnt play again. Some of these managers are idiots. Do they actually expect to win if they dont play their best players.
Also it was nice to see Queresma play and score. He now has the same goal tally as Ronaldo having only played a fraction of the time. Thats how good he is.

I am a football fan .. rather than any club .. I love the beautiful game .. and observe the goings-on everywhere ... be it LFC or MUFC or CFC or ACM or IM or elsewhere .. I appreciate LFC for what it is, its history, tradition, 2005 comeback etc . ... but the Dossena article was way over the top .. I am a big Italy National team fan .. and follow Serie A as well as I do EPL .. and believe me .. there was no way Dossena would'v found a place in this Italian side .. unless 3-5 defenders suddenly got injured .. :)
I still feel Ronaldo would'v done better to round off Cech .. and get the goal for himself ... no need to show selflessness .. when not required ... and he deserved a brace for his overall display in the match ..
